I edited seven episodes of the series from 2021 to 2024.

In Real Life: Crossing the Line (2023)

In partnership with the Los Angeles Times, this documentary shows an inside look into the operations and impact of America’s border militias. Hosted by Keegan Hamilton.

Awards:

In Real Life: A Hidden War (2024)

Role: Animator and Co-editor

This episode of In Real Life was a collaboration between Scripps News and Bellingcat hosted by correspondent Seb Walker.

I was one of 3 editors who worked on a compressed time frame to assemble this documentary covering the IDF’s campaign of “domicide” — the widespread or systematic destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure — in Gaza and its parallels in the West Bank. I created all animated sequences in the episode and edited the sections focused on open source reporting.

Shift

Role: Editor/Animator

Love in virtual reality. Killer robots. Climate migration. A new form of justice. Shift was a four-part documentary series exploring the frontlines of radical change in technology and culture, where new frontiers are explored and existential questions are raised.

I designed the graphics package for the series and edited three out of four episodes: “Tomorrow’s War,” “Rising Tides,” and “Virtual Love.”
