In my natural editing habitat.

I am an editor and animator based in Washington, D.C.

I have extensive experience editing short and long-form documentaries for TV and digital platforms, and worked for six years as a full-time video editor on the Scripps News Longform team.

While with Scripps, I was the sole editor and animator on the Emmy-nominated documentary series Bellingcat on Scripps News and edited the gaming/tech focused series Next Level. I also worked on the series In Real Life as an editor and occasional animator.

In the early days of the “Newsy Docs” team when we were focused primarily on standalone documentaries, I also edited/animated a feature-length documentary, Blowout, and numerous other short docs including Catfish Kingdom, Ropes in Brown Hands, and the National Edward R. Murrow Award-winning documentary Walkout.

Before Scripps, I interned with and then worked as a video editor/animator on the National Geographic Digital Short Form team. I independently produced and edited a documentary for National Geographic’s Short Film Showcase, “This is Civilization,” that garnered over 800,000 views.
